The Rules of Solo Circumnavigation
– The route must be contiguous
– The route must cross every line of longitude
– The route must be 20,000 nm or greater
– The above must be undertaken solo

Sailing solo around the world has been achieved by fewer people than have been into space; the exact number is unknown but is believed to be around 300 (compared to over 540 that have been into space).  I am working on a ‘complete’ list which I’ll publish here soon.  Those who make it round are deemed to have joined the ‘Joshua Slocum Society’ – in honour of the firsts solo circumnavigator.
